LBA are very proud to announce that Luigi Bonomi has been named 2010 Literary Agent of the year, at the British Bookseller Industry awards ceremony held last night to honour and recognise the best in the industry. It was a fiercely fought competition against some of the most talented figures leading the publishing industry.

The commendation said " Luigi Bonomi has been helping to shape the future of publishing through his consistent passion for finding and developing new authors, and turning them into bestsellers. He has built a sterling reputation for his creative, innovative and forward-thinking approach to agenting and promoting his authors. This year has seen him go from strength to strength with a number of six-figure deals for new authors as well as effectively executing the repositioning of his existing clients. At a time when the publishing world faces important difficulties, Luigi has embraced these challenges with great entrepreneurial skill and flair, matched by his ability to innovate and break new ground.
