LBA is delighted to announce that The First Apostle by James Becker joins Lee Child, James Patterson, Marcus Zusak and Danny Wallace as one of only seven established titles available to download for the first time as part of the iTunes ebook reader application. This revolutionary first venture between James's publishers Transworld and Apple will enable users to have a real book reading experience. They will be able to turn pages by swiping the device screen with their finger, make notes, rotate the screen, change the font style, size and colour to suit their needs and even bookmark the page where they stop reading. The most remarkable feature is that the download comes embedded with ‘rich media' or rather videos, games, pictures, audio etc truly sparking a new age of reading.
The Sunday Times Culture magazine called this the "future of books and electronic reading" hailing it as the most important development in e-publishing due to the additional contents the user will be able to access and enjoy.
